Suicide Queen by SM Reine
This series has been a roller coaster ride filled with excitement. The fourth book continues to entertain and astonish. Dana McIntyre isn’t the typical fantasy heroine. She’s built like a tank and proud of it. I was on edge the whole time I read this worrying that Dana wasn’t going to get her happily ever after—possibly not even a happily ever after for now. I won’t spoil it, but I was very satisfied with the ending. Dana is dealt the get out of jail card, but it isn’t free. She is tasked with tracking down a serial murderer vampire. Hopefully, while doing so, she can patch up her relationship with her lover, Penny. I love the characters and the way they interact and have evolved over time. I heartily recommend this book.
